Applied Kinesiology (AK)
Applied Kinesiology (AK) was developed in 1964 by Dr. George Goodhart. AK utilizes muscle testing to evaluate the three functional aspects of well-being: biomechanical (structural), biochemical (nutritional), and emotional. AK is also referred to as Muscle Response Testing (MRT).
AK allows the skilled health practitioner to evaluate functional illnesses that typically precede disease. This highly individualized, in-depth system of analysis allows the doctor to assess various aspects of a patient's state of health by evaluating and treating postural and muscular imbalances, neurovascular and neurolymphatic points, subluxation, cranial-sacral movement, acupuncture meridians, and nutritional status. This is a highly effective treatment system that focuses on whole body care.
Bottom line: AK enables health investigation without intrusion. It gives insight into the underlying causes and solutions to many functional health problems.
Allergy / Sensitivity Elimination and Reprogramming Technique (A/SERT)
What is A/SERT?
A/SERT (Allergy / Sensitivity Elimination and Reprogramming Technique) is a revolutionary treatment system based on the principles of Chiropractic, Acupuncture, and Applied Kinesiology (Muscle Response Testing). This technique, developed by Dr. John Brimhall D.C., is a modification of NAET (Nambudripad"s Allergy Elimination Technique) developed by Dr. Devi Nambudripad. This treatment, in conjunction with the 10-Step Protocol (see section “10 steps to wellness” for more details), can bring about dramatic improvement - at times even total elimination - for all types of allergies. It is simple, non-invasive and extremely effective. It is currently practiced by hundreds of health practitioners including MD’s, nurses, acupuncturists, chiropractors, and dentists.
How does A/SERT work?
A/SERT is based on the recognition that all things in our universe (animate and inanimate) have their own specific electromagnetic fields due to their atomic and molecular makeup. These different electromagnetic fields all affect one another. This is true for our bodies, rocks, pollen, mold, peanut butter, flowers, water… in short, everything. You may know this electromagnetic energy as associated with meridians (energy pathways) in acupuncture and chi in Chinese Medicine. These electromagnetic fields can be visually demonstrated with Kirlian photography.
Nuclear physicists can determine the type of atom by its electromagnetic frequency. According to Dr. Devi Nambudripad, here’s how it works: When a particular substance such as a whole wheat bagel, peanuts, pollen, etc. come in contact with your energy system, your brain interpret that substance as either neutral or potentially harmful to your body. For those bodies that react negatively to a given substance, your energy pathways freeze up as a way of defending the body against this unsuitable substance. This creates what we refer to as a “sensitivity” or an “allergy”. When allergies become severe or when one has multiple allergies, more and more energy pathways freeze up and the overall functioning of your body suffers.
A/SERT Diagnostics
Our fingertips are very sensitive to the electromagnetic energy of substances with which we come into contact. By placing a sample of a suspected allergen into a person’s hand, and using Applied Kinesiology muscle testing, the A/SERT practitioner can determine whether or not a person reacts “weak” or “strong” to the substance, i.e., whether this substance causes an energy blockage in the patient’s body. Such blockages can cause a wide variety of symptoms, from sneezing and coughing to chronic diseases such as asthma.
A/SERT Desensitization
The A/SERT practitioner stimulates key points along the patient’s spine while the patient is holding the allergen. The doctor stimulates certain meridian points, specific organs and lobes of the brain with a Low Level Laser. A chemical change takes place in the autonomic nervous system, neutralizing any allergic reaction to the substance. A/SERT reprograms the brain and the nervous system, and eliminates your body’s conditioned response to the “allergen”. Environmental medicine has been dealing with hidden allergies for several decades. You try to avoid the allergenic substance in your life, you go on a rotation diet, and maybe you can manage. But with A/SERT you can continue to have contact with the very substance that made you sick.
Cold Laser Therapy
Where is this being used?
The Erchonia cold laser device has gained recent FDA approval for the non-surgical treatment of neck and shoulder complaints and is being used widely in the NFL and by the USPS tour de France team chiropractor. The beneficial effects of the Erchonia laser are currently being researched by leading plastic surgeons for use in liposuction procedures.
How does it work?
When the body has an injury the cells are damaged and fail to function within normal parameters. Low level lasers penetrate deeply into the skin and work by restoring this abnormal cellular function. Physiologic effects include improved metabolism, circulation and tissue healing.

EB 305 - Energy Balancer
The EB 305 was designed and developed to restore the body's energy and balance while facilitating and aiding in its natural detoxification process. This device has been proven in clinical trials to balance and restore the body's Ph and electromagnetic energy.
